Description

A glorious Spring day today was a real joy after the drizzle of yesterday. My son helped me plant the last of my new Rhodos, and we had lunch outside in 20C !

Yesss! First, when this went up, I had to look up "aeonium" because I didn't realize it was a plant. (It comes from the root, "aeon" ((or eon)), and it's such a strange plant-name.) Your treatment is tremendous, a real melange of jutting forms and gritty lines; and a topographical study of reflections and hues. The thing sticking out of the water has real drama. It's like a coffee cup that has the seeds of the cosmos brewing in it. Terrific---when you go way abstract on us, you get cosmic. Love this piece. (Full size, it's a knockout!)
