She has been here 12 days, and has learned a great many new rules.

I'll be quite interested to hear of Tiffany's progress with recall! I can't imagine that going very well, but if anyone can do it, YOU can! :)
When Bill first came out to Washington, he met my friend Lela, who is a serious dog person. Bill happened to mention Mandy, and Lela asked him, "What kind of dog is Mandy?" "A Westie," he replied. Lela got this sort of wry and playful look on her face and said, "Oh, you like a challenge! ... ... That's good!" and she looked at me and nodded. I believe that was the moment Bill passed the test with Lela. LOL!
