Description
During my little vacation from work, I came across this slug who was taking in the sights as well.
My little vacation is why I wasn't commenting on any images this last weekend

He is so awesome! What perfectly defined antennae. And I figure he's on a mission just like the rest of us. His shadow is so great here too. I suck so bad at taking pictures. So I think it's so cool that his shadow is contradictory to your camera angle. Wonderful reflection on his back too.

I always imagine slugs are just snails who have left home. Did you know that the mascot of the University of California at Santa Cruz is the banana slug?

Quite a cool photo of something most folks would either step on or do other horrible things! He (it) does seem to be interested in something of camera. Probably that picture of Jabba the Hut you propped up against the wall....

I was happy to hear you took a little vacation. And I really like this slug against that big field of striated concrete. The slug has left not only its shadow, but a bit of fluid on the concrete. An intense center surrounded by the great plains of concrete. A fine image of what is, for that slug, a desert crossing...Fine piece, Mike.
