This is great, Joe. I love how you portrayed him. Though before my time, what creative revolutionaries these artists of this represented era were.

Jumping forward a decade, I watched something very interesting and learned something very interesting last night as well.

December 12 1970. New Orleans. Jim Morrison's last appearance on stage with The Doors. I never knew that before. I actually never knew where their last performance together occurred.

Anyway, the show was a total train wreck. Jim was F'd up out of his gourd. Puking wasted. Incapable of singing.

More history here than anything. Interviews with workers at the club, etc. Maybe you'll find it interesting too.
