Description
When the weather turned, and the southern Empress threatened to suppress the Children of Dalriata, and their hopes for independence free of the Anglishe yoke, the People prayed for a peaceful solution to their fears. However, knowing the heap of past, broken promises and harsh measures of the House of Albionne, they prepared for a violent reaction and another invidious persecution. The western galleys and curraghs were worked on and the old hiding places refurbished, and the icons and statues hidden safely away. Prayer life was renewed by the people, both adherents of the Old Religion and those of the Quiet Way.
Nature itself seemed sombre too.The Spring weather turned wintry, the noisy, dirty, steam gunboats were occasionally observed, out past the Fingellen Isles, trying to prevent aid from the Arcadies over the western ocean/"

Rendered in Vue Complete 2016 on my trusty laptop for a friend's birthday. Busy with the wedding coming fast, but simply quietly expectant at the calling which God has honoured us with. I pray that all will be well for each and every one ... God bless all .
