Modern plane, but being a b/w photo this could be the 1940's. The contrasts really bring out the details. Wings and prop motor mounted on top so the prop blades will be clear off the ground. I wonder how it would be to fly in one of these after decades of flying in jets? Have you tried? Keep up the good work! :-)

i have...they are good to fly in and excellent for out of window viewing as the wings arent it the way
