Ha! Similar studio arrangement as in the previous posts, but with different jobs. Those tattoos - would they fit in with Vermeer? But here they are a modern add on, drawing attention. Speaking of drawing, I've tried to interpret the drawing on the wall but without success. A work of art in itself. Can't wait to see your next post! Keep up the good work! :-)

Thank you very much. At first I thought I could slightly vary the angles of view in the studio as in the pictures of vermeer, but it did not work with my compositions. On the other hand, I wanted to maintain this abstract painting in the picture, that is to say the fuzzy reflection in the window which is never the same in each image. In the same way, I place eventually on the back wall (Vermeer did not do it all the time) an image that comments on the scene: here is the plan of a house. I liked the idea that building the interior of the studio was also to share the construction of my image. Finally, the young woman covered with tattoos asserts to me a kind of virility while remaining seductive, it is my way of presenting resistance to certain clichés as the attribution of certain trades according to whether one is male or female.

Another excellent image. One could get into arguments about the nature of Vermeer's realism which gives the illusion of photographic realism by painterly technique - which was the essence of the Dutch style. But that detracts not a bit from the excellence of this work.
