Description

right in ahead about 2-3 blocks (looking south) is Westheimer Road for those that are familiar with Uptown Houston. why they call it Uptown Houston is anyone's guess. it is about 3 miles from downtown on the far left between the Keep Right sign and the traffic light pole, the roof of my 4 Runner can barely be seen there are several of these arches along Post Oak Blvd. I should of had my fisheye to get all of the arches

I've never been in Houston, so thanks for sharing ! I know that "Houston" was the first word pronounced by Neil Armstrong when he was on the Moon.

I think I see it. Great shot, buddy. I wonder who came up with the idea to put those big concrete balls on the four corners of the intersection. And why.

you got me thinking about our own Downtown. It's elevated above a river valley, where's the 'down' part of that?

Awesome view, looks like it is going to get very busy soon !

There is a small town south of us-- a well known tourist stop that has golden arches done its main street.
