I'm skipping all the joke possibilities on your title (though others have pondered), and I don't know what 'primitives' are, but I love the mix of this beautiful near-ceramic scorpion alongside those beautiful balls. I have a friend who's working with Blender, and modeling shapes from the ground up; and I know that making a good round ball is a big deal; so I can appreciate the different parameters of lighting, bringing out hues and shapes and contrasts, etc. The scorpion is a sweet juxtaposition in part because of his totally different color schemes, as well as his shape (which is so segmented in comparison to those sheer round balls). The scorpion looks like it could make a fine ceramic sculpture. I love the detail here, and the sheen and surfaces and the 'mass' of these objects, how they feel so substantial. Beautiful combination and details, Mike.

I'm at an hour and 10 minutes in your gallery, and though I only have 5 more to do, I must move on so I can get some other artists in the few days I'm back. I'm sorry I have to stop, but hopefully I can come back for the rest before I step away again. This last month seems to have been largely studies and explorations from you, and they've been a real delight.

The title sounded like it was a episode of 'Into The Badlands'. I like this shot, very clever and colourful.
