Description

During a walk I saw a small area where there were many plants with these dried fruits in late winter. These plants are Datura Stramonium, extremely toxic! Common names of this plant: jimsonweed, Devil's snare, thornapple and moon flower... (Wikipedia) Au cours d'une promenade, j'ai vu une petite surface où il y avait beaucoup de plantes avec ces fruits sèchés en fin d'hiver. Ces plantes, ce sont des Datura Stramonium, extrêmement toxiques! Noms communs de cette plante: herbe aux fous, pomme-épineuse, herbe-aux-taupes, chasse-taupe, herbe du diable, endormeuse, pomme poison, trompette des anges, herbe Jimson ou trompette de la mort.... Wow get the heck out. I never knew that. It reminds me of those plants that pop open and all the white fluffy things float out of them. Talk about nasty spikes! Looks like a weapon. Excellent shot of it, JC!

OK, I had to go read up on thisd bad boy on wikipedia, and my, my what a fun little plant! I guess I shouldn't be surprised that people ate the thing anyway.
