It was starting to crumble. The old skull had held up well through miles of tangled undergrowth, shining through the deep purples and greens of the inner forest. Those eyes, that mouth, laughing or screaming in silence - hideous - were a comforting horror to a lost traveler in the dark. Aya liked to think of him as, "Ned" for no reason other than it seemed easier to have a named companion by her side, than think about the grave stolen, rotting head that was now floating above her palm. Well, one last time before he would fade to dust. "One last time and we're outta here, Ned. Make it a good one." The words were spoken and the egg fragile skull floated up, releasing the last of its fire. To the north - no, to the northeast, or a bit more to the east it finally rotated and stilled. The flames juddered and flared, and Ned cracked and crumbled into a pile of dark brown dust at what was now, his final resting place. Aya smiled..."Good old Ned," she thought, while walking out of the trees and into bright daylight. - Aya is a combo girl...dial spun with a bit of MRL Ling, a bit of Sparkle, and a few others. I used Katja's skin. It just looked better to me than any of the stock textures. The Seeker is a skull from Bone Piles, using an iray shader for the bone, and using Fuseling's Elements of Magic for the whirlwind runes. I used two props, and inner and outer. The outer prop uses IDG Iray FX Shaders for the flame look. The background is just an HDRI. I put Stonemason's Iray Clouds immediately behind Aya to give the scene a bit of atmosphere. The clothes are the Sapphire outfit. Oh and the hair is the Yumi Hair for G3F with the giant tails morph. :) Thanks for looking!
