Even though you forgot to include John, Paul and Gordy.. .., This turned out kewl! For the ground - I found that scenes like this looks extra better using the ground that's included in DAZ "Native Cheyenne Village". Looks great even in Iray without any Iray shaders. I got it as a freebie deal they had last year. I dont do Native American scenes (maybe in the future) but the ground looked good, and turned out almost exactly as I thought it would. Just add a few weeds or recolor grass patches to look dead, and voilah! Awesome for western or wasteland scenes!

For Iray Grounds You need to increase the Ground Texture and set the ground position from auto to manual if you don't the ground will move up and down with the first subject you place in the scene now you can change its Y position up or down when you have more than one subject in the scene and you can move all subjects up or down so that they all that all touch the ground
