this shrub was near the entrance to the motel I stayed a couple weekends ago!

This reminds me of those lizards whose coloration allows them to fade into the background...The shrub seems to have adapted the hues of its background. But it's clearly a shrub. And the rat-a-tat textures of those stones make wonderful rhythms beneath those branches. A really rhythmic capture, with lots of 'drumbeats'. I really like this. An ocean of stones and branches...
