after 7 years i'm finally getting around in adding some info on this page. never really thought about doing it. i have been a member here since July 15th 2006, and have learned alot from fellow artists. i would have about 1300 images or so posted but have deleated many of my first pieces. and still consider myself a developing artist at this wonderful site. i'm 56 years old this year "2013" and was born in North Dakota. i have lived in Colorado since 1967 and enjoy this place alot. my stepfather was in the air force and we lived in Bermuda after North Dakota for a few years before coming here where he got stationed.. and so much enjoy many of the finest artist in the world who post here.. love you all and your amazing friendships we share.. lol Steve
i enjoy working with poser, i have such a dinosaur version i use, (p6) wish i had poser 2012 at least. i also use photoshop 7 for most of my work i post here. but more so photography is my main passion, just hope to get a camera again someday.
p.s. not sure how high of a res pic i'm using for this page. take care and thanks a million you all.

being a vendor here, I realize how important credits can be. what bugs me are products with different names in different places. hard to find the credits sometimes. also when searching textures or geometries it is a pain to locate files when they use a different name from the actual product
very cool effect on the hand and superb work

Whaza!! Steve.this is a fabulous creation. The way your got the hand reaching around brilliant. So agree with the credits.I think it's only right to give credit where credit is due, but I don't with off shore stuff. Did you get my 2 emails I sent about props my friend.Take care have a top weekend cheers

Amazing creation!! Great scene !!

awesome image, and good point about credits. I never thought of it that way. maybe I will try and add credits, if I can figure out how. ;)

Excellent done!!!!!!!!!!

Awesome image! Love the hands and that cat rubbing against the mirror. I too would like to see more crediting, not just for vendors (which would help) but also for freebies. People give of their time and effort for free and that counts in my book.

I should play around with mirrors more often you can perform some interesting effects with them. Excellent gothic horror feeling to this one Steve.

What a wicked cool and creative scene, Steve! I love your imaginative works a lot, bro! And works like this are why - you never fail to come up with something cool - even when you say you're stumped for ideas. Brilliant!
Yeah, I try to credit as much as possible for just that reason - if someone likes a particular item and wants to buy it, or DL it if it's a freebie. My problem is remembering everything I've used in an image (especially in those T.N.A. renders). I need to start taking notes!

I agree with what you said about credits---it helps keep the artists/art alive. I don't use models and such, because I'm not in 3D, but I do understand helping artists. Also, I agree with Rod ("you never fail to come up with something cool - even when you say you're stumped for ideas. Brilliant!"). Exactly. Love this image---the lady seems to be penetrating a time-space barrier. I love her expression, and the feeling that she's actually penetrating the mirror, while her 'other' steps out of it, and into her space. You've messed with 2 universes here. And maybe it's not a mirror at all, or maybe it is and isn't at the same time. Wonderful mix. And a cat mysteriously rubbing itself against the mirror (yes?), and greek letters for the title, with its reflection as well. Love those little touches you throw in. A creepy delight, playing with time and space. And her eye decoration is really cool too.

Total freak out, in the Spock-with-a-beard sense! Great reflection work!
I try to credit when possible, and I'm sorry I haven't done it as much recently (pressed for time, tiredness). I need to start taking notes more, just like Rod.
Unfortunately, I've been DAZ-centric for the longest, but when I finally have more money I going work through my long Rendo wish list.
