Description

"May she fare on with undimmed horns, when she drives her silvery chariot through the nightly skies. Selene, Titan goddess of the Moon! With stars surrounded, she yokes her strong-necked, shining team, and drives on her long-maned horses at full speed, at eventime in the mid-month. Then her great orbit is full and her beams shine brightest ". Greek goddess and mythological personification of the moon. Ancient descriptions of her vary - some say her chariot is drawn by horses, others by bulls. But since horses are so much more "photogenic" than bulls, that's what I went with! Woman, chariot and horses rendered in Poser 10, Moon in Bryce, background and postwork created in Photoshop.
