Description

Spring at last. Time for a quiet stroll in the park. Sorry, no nudity. I have to admit, this Vue project did not turn out as well as I had hoped it might. Much of the problem stemmed from crashes due to "Out Of Memory" faults. I'm not certain the cause as I have created far more complex Vue scenes in the past. They also had memory issues but not as bad and time consuming as this one. Rendering (when it was successful) took as long as fourteen (14) hours as well. I also found that this scene came out sightly over saturated no matter what I did to Vue to correct it. So, I used the Hue-Saturation colour tool in GIMP to lower the saturation on both the red and green channels of the scene. Still, it's not a complete wash. This project helped me solve a few technical issues with respect to developing a landscape in Vue. These lessons will serve well with another project which I've always wanted to do and now will be developing over the next few months. So sorry for the brief messaging but it is back to work for now. Hope everyone's week is starting off well. And that it is warm and sunny where you are. With maybe a rainbow or two. Cheers!

Maybe a Saturday in the park but not yet the 4th of July. She looks marvy on her outfit strolling.

This is fantastic! Well worth all the aggravation of getting the 'puter and Vue to play together nice.

I really need to play with Vue more often...

I have to echo what you're saying about Vue. I have Vue Studio 2015 and a pretty capable rig, and I must say Vue crashes a lot and takes forever to function. In fact, I rarely use it anymore because I just don't have the patience. It's a lot worse and less stable than the previous version, at least in my case. Great scene by the way! Still waiting for spring ...

Well I think it looks good, much better than I could do in 3D work! It also looks like a beautiful sunny day, which has to be good. hugs Jane xx

Sympathise with Vue and those crashes. Capable of some impressive lighting, but very fussy over memory allocation on many occasions. Nice work on this image all the same. Nice bright colours, and some great work on the landscape and vegetation!
