Australian volunteer citizen scientists have found four previously unknown planets orbiting a nearby star thanks to a crowd-sourcing project aired on the ABC's Stargazing Live.

It seems that astronomers have discovered (time ago) 7 planets that have the same characteristics as our planet Earth, but at more than 40 light years distance, their visit is not yet possible. Stargazing is AMAZING Dee, congrats and thank you for supporting my products in your Art !

Your choice of colors and textures create a wonderful juxtaposition between hard and soft. This image would have been a perfect cover for Galaxy or one of the other sci-fi magazines I grew up reading in the 70s and 80s. NICE JOB.

I think she's so adorable! I could hook up with an alien woman in a heartbeat. So interesting about the newly discovered planets. Stephen Hawking keeps talking about what a bad idea it is for us to reveal our place in the solar system/universe. But I think he says AI is the greatest threat to us too. Eh, what does he know? (Only like everything.) LOL.

We really need to develop warp drive so we can escape to one of those exoplanets before the Powers-That-Be blow this one out from under us.... Of course the existing inhabitants (if any) might not let us land... Couldn't blame them..
