Description

A cast iron lamppost peeling layers of paint beautifully! They are being replace by alloy ones which collapse safely on impact, or so we are told. Another one Here

These snap when you hit them, safer than the alloy that wraps around the vehicle? Elf ans safety dickheads I expect. That being said though, this is a terrific pic, love the clarity here

what a fabulous find! Each layer takes us back in time. Sad that everything now days is being replaced by bland sameness with no character. At least some of the newer architecture in London has some visual interest.
