Jen Jen had survived worse fixes than this one.
This one time? On Christmas Eve? The Lamborghini ran out of gas on the interstate and it took the genius from the auto
club one hour and thirty-seven minutes to arrive with a can of gas.
One hour and thirty-seven minutes.
Like what? He had something more important to do on Christmas Eve? Ha!
Needless to say, Bob Cratchit returned home tip-less to Tiny Tim that night!
But here and now, July 16 2035, with the time machine turned off back in the present, she figured she had only one hope to
return home ..... damage this weird satellite dish and force somebody, anybody to show up and repair it.
It had to be important. It was the only unique structure outside of the towers which stretched on for miles and miles, seemingly
endlessly into the otherwise sterile landscape.
And do you want to know something unsettling about the future?
It's totally silent. Insanely silent. No birds chirping. No hum of transformers. Nothing.
And guess what song she had stuck in her head?
Happy Birthday To You.
Oh my God. Maddening!
Happy birthday, dear Jen Jen, happy birthday to you. Over and over and over and over again.
Maybe because she would have killed for a slice of cake. Whatever.
But now? She just had to figure out how to do damage to this hard structure. With her bare hands. Before she lost her
mind singing happy birthday to herself.
Screwed. Screwed and alone.

what a situation to be in, stuck in the future with only a day to go. before what happens. will she be the only one to know what? will she be transported to another place/time? or is she just royally screwed?!

Maybe she's the reason why there is no tomorrow. She broke it. Or maybe I left my imagination on high again. Breaking electronics is easy. I do it all the time. Just start pressing buttons. Great image. Love all the machinery. Can't wait to see what come next.

Heaven knows that's how I feel, Jen, Jen and I would make a great pair. But anyway, I'll be looking forward to the day after tomorrow. A very unpleasant situation to be in. Wonder what you have in lind, James.

Damn, this is fantastic, Zig! Holy moly, what a scene. Although I'm sure it's fascination is lost on poor Jen, trying to figure a way out of this mess! I'm sure she'll come up with something, though. At least I hope so... She's far too hot to be left stranded in the future - with one day left before lights out.

at first I thought it is Vienna in 2156 with its giant wheel lol fascination buildings and composition! Silence I love but without birds or insects thats not good, should no life be possible! what a mood you create with the story 😮
