Description
A few weeks ago, I was in Bologna, where I saw an exhibition of a famous Italian painter from the last century. Giorgio Morandi became famous above all for the harmony of the compositions and colors of his still lifes. These works have suggested to me that this interpretation is also a dedication to the author.
A little curiusity: Still life in English in Italian we say "Nature Morta" strangely literal translation in English would be "Dead Nature"

Interesting background info. Lovely harmony in the whole image. Wonderful use of the different colored tiles. They do look as though they belong together in harmony.

excellent... textures working together, subtle reflects, palette works..pretty simple concept. I hope you save renders in Daz because I have a challenge for you :) ok now take this same image and "twist" it without adding any new content to the scene. ::wiggling eyebrows:: A challenge to your surreal creativity and which I am excited to see what you come up with.

I like how the beer mug on the right almost seems like it is part of the wall

In french we said "Nature morte", Are we certain it died? And the Poet Lamartine wrote "Objets inanimés, avez-vous donc une âme"

Fabulous work; so well crafted and rendered. Just looked up Giorgio Morandi on line, very fascinating artist.

The still life is a genre in painting which has had a varied importance according to the centuries and the countries; Those of Abraham van Beyeren are sumptuous, I like the air circulation almost palpable in those of Chardin, Manet was able to impress us with an asparagus, and the Cubists had made them their privileged kind. I like to think that "still life" in French translates as "vie silencieuse".

A very nice modern, digital variation on the traditional still life. I'm not sure what the origin of the phrase "Natura Morta" was, but I know I've seen very old still lifes that featured dead birds, fish & other animals, so maybe that had something to with it?

Balance and harmony suggest "still", which has varied interpretations with language.
The container handles / Le maniglie del contenitore / Poignées de conteneurs suggest this balance / stillness to me
