Description
After my grandfather retired, they moved Into this house which was up the hill but still in the Harbour Village only a few km from here. This painting hung in their house, as long as I can remember. My uncle, my fathers brother, took over the house, when my grandmother died and when they years later sold the house, they gave me this painting, that their brother in law had painted. I love it so much, because it gives me so many happy memories from there. :-)

Was this painting done by a member of your family? (Gunnar H?) In any case, it has the feeling of an old heirloom. It's actually a kind of 'filtered' painting, as if it were filtered for a light touch...the hues are gentle and slightly 'hazy'. Perhaps that's from age, but I like it regardless. And it does have the feel of what you describe...A delightful upload. And what does "Luna" mean? (I mean, in relation to your family...a family name? a locale?) A sweet way to share deep memory.
