"The secret to creativity is knowing how to hide your sources" - Albert EinsteinBIOIm am a 28 years old Swedish medical researcher living in Stockholm. I have had a profound interest in computer generated art and 3D in general since 1999 and I am currently exploring different medias. I am mainly using MAXON's Cinema 4D for both modeling & rendering and e-on software's Vue d'Esprit for landscapes...

You are right woodman650, it being a 4 string bass, my buddy plays jazzy chords on it ;)

Looking good :) And do make it available for download -- seems like a nice model to have!

Yes, my man, it works great. I think the shadows on the wall works. Nice job. :))

Great stuff - you're right with the shadow, but you can get a sharper shadow with a small map too: just set down the samples :-)

A very good first effort indeed! I would have shown the whole guitar. Being a guitarist myself I would suggest that the jack plug socket is a tad too big and that the scratch plate is a bit thick. The strings all look the same weight and the bass string needs to be heavier. I made a model of my strat years ago and spent hours and hours measuring it. Probably spent three weeks modelling it...
