Description
Mission Log 058. Kasha Thorne recording. Lost radio contact with Diva Team as they headed further underground in the enemy compound. Should regain connection momentarily.
Things are coming to a head in the larger geopolitical scene. North Korea fired yet ANOTHER missile [**stifles groan**] while Presidents Trump and Xi were meeting in Florida. Received encrypted messages from T.N.A. HQ concerning Trump ordering a missile strike against Syria in response to Assad’s chemical attack on innocents. Trump also has a dimmer view of relations with Russia, among other changed points of view.
(Nice to know he finally got it on Russia. Or maybe it’s part of a bigger M.O., I don’t know. I digress.)
And just got word of a MOAB* drop on ISIS in Afghanistan.
Now with a Navy carrier group approaching the Peninsula and the upcoming Day of the Sun celebrations in NK, there’s now word of a possible nuclear weapon test. Surveillance data from 38north.org suggests preparations are under way.
Interesting times, these are.

I just hope we all survive the next 4 years. I'm retiring soon, and dammit, I wanna enjoy a few years of not working my a$$ off!

Great pose, Wes. It feels like she feels all stressed from all the news and it's certainly understandable. Yup. It's really starting to feel like this can all go to hell really fast. Just read this morning that China cancelled all flights into the NK capital too. I can't spell the name off the top of my head. Well, let's hope they don't proceed with that test and that we don't wake up to some very bad news over the weekend. Have a good one, buddy.
