Description

My wife and I came across this very recent beaver activity while we were walking in the Binghamton University Nature Preserve today. I'd guess a half-dozen tree of various sizes were newly downed. Looks like they've been renovating the lodge in the background.

Very glad it wasn't some wanton logging industry! The beavers take what they need and use it. But the logging industry sees them as destructive. So, who is worst? Beavers or humans? I prefer beavers to logging. Keep up the good work! This photo really shows their tooth work! Why don't beavers get tooth aches? Their teeth are constantly growing and wearing down. :-)
