after 7 years i'm finally getting around in adding some info on this page. never really thought about doing it. i have been a member here since July 15th 2006, and have learned alot from fellow artists. i would have about 1300 images or so posted but have deleated many of my first pieces. and still consider myself a developing artist at this wonderful site. i'm 56 years old this year "2013" and was born in North Dakota. i have lived in Colorado since 1967 and enjoy this place alot. my stepfather was in the air force and we lived in Bermuda after North Dakota for a few years before coming here where he got stationed.. and so much enjoy many of the finest artist in the world who post here.. love you all and your amazing friendships we share.. lol Steve

I'm only back for a few comments in each gallery tonight (and in the day, thursday). I'll do more the next time around, when I'll be here for a longer time. But I have a lot to say about them all...This cover was exceptional even by your high standards. It has a jungle feeling, a primal place that's overgrown and filled with primal beings and feelings. Even though it's really made of metals and bot-like structures and very carved designs (steampunk): It still feels like a jungle---from another world maybe. You composed this beautifully: It 'spills out' into us, and just bristles with energies. The green tint is terrific, almost neon/day-glo in intensity. The stares and the shading on the women, esp in their eyes, is terrific. I love the primal designs on their foreheads; and the 'dripping' designs on their lips. As for the print, a real array of design fonts, love the steampunk one, and the one directly below (a kind of art deco design, with those tiny "o"s). And your usual array of styles, italics, etc. How you managed to get such clarity in such a packed image, I don't know, but you are expert at this. Terrific job, Steve, I saw it when it went up and was dazzled. You have layout and design down pat.
