My friend Gary & his son, Scott's 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible Weekly summer A&W cruise-in, Woodside Ferry terminal, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, July 21, 2016. Camera: Nikon D7000 & Nikkor 18-105mm lens Sadly this would be the last time I spoke with Gary as he passed away September, 2016.

Wow, this Chevy really stands out amongst the crowd...postwork enhancement Ken ?

Lets hope Scott keeps it as good a condition as they both did together, sorry to hear about your friends passing, but at least this fine auto will keep his memories alive.

Looks every bit as good as it did in 1957...holy smoke that's 60 years ago already. A friend of mine in high school had a brand new one with a Continental Kit and supercharger...same exact color as this...yes, his father had a bit of money. All I could do was wish!

Fishin' pole rear antennas! mudflaps! curb feelers! turn down exhaust tips! but no front fender mirrors or spot lights? and dealer available fender skirts ... no turnpike cruisers or bubble skirts or needle nose bubble skirts? and no amber marble insert head light shades or half mirror overlays... the kid stuff is going the right place the blessings of the Lord with your friend on his passing. 1957 was a goin' time!!
