Having tumbled down 2 storeys, I round the corner on the ground floor landing and see this – the corridor to the entrance. Oooh, is it a good day, or a cloudy day, or a splishy-splashy day? Looks OK today.

they seem to keep the halls very clean. it was very mild here today. the temperature this morning was in the mid 50's F

Right you are, except in winter when there's snow, ice and a lot of sand and salt on the walkways. The stuff gets tracked in along the whole hall way. But, we have good cleaners - gone early morning, but again a mess in the evening.

I really like this long hall shot. I love shots where the outside is at the end of a corridor...lots of activity out there (visual activity, that is), bikes, trees, a sign, and the bright light. But the rest of the image is a lonnnng hall (it seems that way in your perspective, even if it's not that long in reality), and quiet shadow. The red next to the door adds a real swath of warmth to the shot. You caught the feeling of an open hall really well. Looks like a quiet place to think...
