Gas! Don your gas masks!
At the end of the street I turn right and walk across the driveway past the gas pumps. The gas station house burned down some 10 years ago. It was arson. They never caught the arsonist. No new station was built up. No more chocolate bars with almonds. Sigh. Life can be SO cruel at times. But now it's down hill! Happy feet!

I'd miss the chocolate bars most of all. How far do you walk each day? I feel we never walk enough but here in D.C. we're walking at least three miles a day...that's up from our usual one a day.

An hour to and from work / bus stops. 20 minutes into or out of town. And a lot of walking in between said in and out. Thing is, I don't have a bike. Have had 5 stolen. That's a lot of money. So I've been tender footing it the last 9 years (sore feet and worn out shoes. Good thing the feet last longer than the shoes!)...

Man, that sucks about the bikes... People are such pond scum sometimes... After about the 2nd one, I'd be wiring up # 3 with a nasty surprise for the next thief...

I thought about that, but with the legal system which is more concerned with criminals rights and to hell with the victims, I'd be in pretty bad doo-doo if I injured a criminal! PC sucks!
