"You might say I'm a dreamer"
I have loved photography since I was a child and also love graphic art (I am the kind of person that WILL buy a book or CD for its cover) but sadly I only became aware of 3D art after crossing paths with Dragonluna. I immediately fell in love with her work and after a while decided to give it try, mostly because I wanted to make pics to go along with a fanfic I was writing. I am neither a writer nor a 3D artist, I just like to daydream and have ideas and fantasies, and I love anything that has to do with visual art. I am still very limited with the program and have loads to learn and I am also quite fearful of posting my pics considering the high quality of the renders on this site, but I guess we all have to start somewhere and this is where I start, sharing my fantasies with you. Thank you for the taking the time to look at my work. :)

Better late then never... I guess. ;) I like this a lot, the mood is very special, I wonder who she is looking at. The slightly blueish touch is well done, I'd even intensify the blues a tiny bit more, but that totally depends on how far we are into the night. And yeah, I'll stop being a wiseass... or do I? :)

Hey, welcome back my friend! I am glad you like the mood, I am going to confess that this is one of the rare times where I am rather satisfied with how the scene turned out (but then again I have been working on this for quite a while fixing things and testing camera angles and poses). I went easy on the blue because it was my first attempt at using this tone of light and was afraid I'd overdo it, next time i will definitely try more blue. :) Thank you for your feedback and glad to see you back!

I like the warmer color version too. One way to indicate it was at night and still have warm colors would have been to put a lamp on the pillar near her that gave the warm light. But the cooler version works well too.

This is beautiful! I like the cooler-toned version myself, as it definitely looks more like moonlight (whereas the other one suggests the presence of warm-toned lights off camera). I love the jewel-toned colors of her dress and headgear and how clearly we can see the texture on the column she's standing next to. Moonlight is hard to do, but you did a lovely job!
