Description
Traffic roundabout. Merry-go-round for cars. I've seen cars going round and round while the driver is looking for which exit to take! Rather funny!
A closer look at the crossing and the roundabout. Notice the cars stopping for the bicyclist as they leave the roundabout. Motorists MUST stop according to Swedish law.
Enjoy. The bicyclist is, and so am I. No fear of being flattened to become a T.Rex hamburger!

Whoever thought of roundabouts back in the day of horses and carriages had a good idea, but INMHO they have no place in the day of cars and trucks. Glad the cars have to stop for the bike riders.

Actually, I find the Round-about's quite nice and useful. We have several installed in Camas & Washougal and traffic flow has improved immensely! As long as one thinks and acts in a civilized manner, things are great

I am glad they stop for bicyclist, they very seldom do in Arizona but getting stuck behind somebody that doesn't know where to get off is annoying!

Cool shot of the roundabout! They're being used more and more here in the States. Now, if people would learn to follow the rules, everything would go smoothly..
