Description

The second part (part 1 is here: https://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/a-meeting-of-minds-part-1-/2744079/?p) of discussing how to represent social pressures for conformity and ways to avoid them. Part of my current series (on the side of my standard Smiley Face cartoons of course).

Interesting.
As a youngster, I was attracted to the hippy ideal but, by the time I was old enough to 'do my own thing', the movement was nearly dead.
So I just went ahead and adopted the lifestyle anyway because I like it. Nothing has changed my viewpoint radically since then - nearly fifty years now.
Whilst I respect opposing views and, often, listen to other opinions, these only ever have the effect of modifiers to my values. I have not yet met a will that could totally change my direction.
How would this position me within the social structure discussed here?
I will just add that, during my life, I have met many who have attempted to change me in some way but, so far, without success.
I am enjoying this analysis of social pressure though. Good work.
