I really like the subtle lighting on his face and shoulders. Great use of DOF on the shotgun, too (neat item -- I've added it to my wishlist). All in all, very nice, although his face is a bit dark -- have you tried altering the fstop on the camera? And, btw, I looked at the full-size image and was very pleased to see the landscape reflected in his sunglasses. Nice touch!

Thank you very much. Thank you for the feedback. All of my monitors are very bright so low level lighting is a lot of guess work for me. Feedback like this helps me out a lot. I'm not really competent in the proper use of fstop. I mainly use it to help me determine how clear and how blurry things are in the scene. Unfortunately in this scene the dome I used to wrap the hdri picture around the character is pretty close to get the proper scale. There was very little wiggle room for the fstop. That's also how I did the reflection on the sunglasses. Thank you for noticing that detail by the way. Accurate reflections are important to me because the affect the appearance appearance of metal and glass immensely. I'm happy to hear you added the sawed off shotgun to your wishlist. I'm always worried that I didn't do justice to great products. Thank you again for your comment and feedback.
