Description

This is not the original Frankenstein castle from the story.Frankenstein is a municipality in the district of Kaiserslautern, in Rhineland-Palatinate, western Germany. On a hill towering over the village is Frankenstein Castle. Frankenstein (Pfalz) station is located on the Mannheim–Saarbrücken railway.The original Frankenstein Castle is a hilltop castle in the Odenwald overlooking the city of Darmstadt in Germany. It is thought that this castle may have been an inspiration for Mary Shelley when she wrote her 1818 Gothic novel Frankenstein. Wish you a wonderful day :-)

I see the shadow of a monster at the corner of the shadow on the ground. Must be the photographer! Thanks for the info about the Frankenstein castle. I knew many of the old writers were inspired by exotic places they had visited and which their readers could associate with. So I'm particularly glad you included the story of the real places. Keep up the good work! :-)
