Description

Hi There =) ! Thank you for the wonderful wonderful comments and favs and likes on my renders. Last two week (and this weekend) I have been way too busy with work. Late nights everyday and hence have not been able to do any new render and also was not able to login to comment of your artworks. I will catch up on all your posts since last week in the next 2 to 3 days. Just managed to get this render done.

Story :

Well, we were back from the oceanographic research trip. We had spent an extra week on the boat as we found some weird anomalies that Miho wanted to look into. The moment we landed, Miho heard about a creature terrorizing parts of the city. Some said it was a vampire and some said it was some sort of humanoid creature. Whatever it was Miho wanted to track it down before it did more harm to people or people killed it. She got word that the creature was in an abandoned place where Miho had created a sanctuary for zombies. Miho didn't like killing anything, so she had rounded up all the zombies she came across over her world wide travels and had put them in this place with a perimeter that the zombies could not cross. She was hopeful of curing them in the future and for the time being she wanted to keep people safe from them and also keep the zombies safe from people. Having a new creature introduced in such a place was bound to cause trouble. Hence Miho along with the wolf headed straight there. As they entered the sanctuary they could hear the commotion and both started running towards it. They crossed a building and saw some of the zombies gathered near a derelict skeleton of a car and on the other side the creature with fangs bared was about to attack them. It took Miho and the wolf mere seconds to cover the distance and as they both jumped over the car, the creature froze in fright. It felt instant fear looking at the ferocious furry creature it had never seen before about to attack him and then it felt paralyzing fear when it looked at Miho's smiling face.... Whatever that creature was with flaming red hair, it did not have any fear and it moved faster than anything it had ever seen. The creature realized it could not win or escape and sank to his knees and threw its arms up in submission. Miho had no intention of killing it, but she intended to find out were the creature came from and remove the creature from this place... It would be a interesting story that the creature would tell Miho as she took him away - about how he was a result of human experiments to be used as a weapon and Miho's blood started to boil... Why would people create these terrible things she never could understand. All she knew after hearing what the creature had to say was that this lab where they were doing such awful experiments had to cease to exists and she will see to that it did...

About this render :

I had to render something to take a break from work. So I started with Miho with a new hair do. I love how this hair looks on Miho. Then looking at all the poses I have in my content library I came across this jump pose. Once I applied that, the idea for the scene came along. I put a derelict car in the scene. Adjusted Miho's pose. Then added the derelict building as a background. Added the zombies, the creature and the wolf and posed each of them. I actually put a smile on the zombie inside the car who was pointing at the creature to show he was happy that Miho was there to protect them. Btw. this is Miho 8.0. Whatever little time I have had I have been editing Miho's body geometry. Though there is no change in her face from 7.x to 8.0, the body had changed a bit. It is more voluptuous and I manged to fix the vertices issues around her hip and waist so that the pants/skirt top edge won't distort. Sometimes when you modify things in Zbrush, loading conforming clothing leads to all sorts of distortions.
Hope you all like the render ! Rendered in Daz Studio using the Octane Plugin. No post work done. Do click zoom if you can to see the details... Full size 1750x1000. Fabulous image! I am pretty burned-out on zombies but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate this exciting render and the storyline behind it. You always apply so much thought to your artwork that it makes it worthwhile,
