Description

Taken in Lithia park, Ashland. This blossom was several feet over my head & so I shot it aiming up into the shaded sunlight... Please zoom.

If this were a dark flower, the shot wouldn't have been nearly so good. As it is, the sun takes up residence in the petals and gives the blossom a translucence and a glow that makes this a perfect shot. Gorgeous!
