Description

Okay, no, it's not really a reptile egg, but wouldn't that be cool? More from the glass shop in Staunton, Virginia.

After admired this beautiful picture, I close my eyes and what do I see: one of my fantasy originated reptile, with two of these glass spheres, and it looks at me, it's coming straight at me from my computer screen. 😇

this piece is set against the natural background, with bokeh'd lights and shadow: It's in a 'sea'. And the bauble itself is captured with a surprising number of reflections and levels of light and hue---I wonder if people see all that, in person; your photograph makes us ponder it, and it's very rich and varied. Lots of life in that sphere. And your placement, once again, on one side, makes it commune with its background in a way that centering it would not. You're very intuitive about placement. Beautiful...and the dark shadow in that ball brings out its mystery, even its 'dark' side...
