Description
If a weed is a plant growing in the 'wrong' place then this is sometimes one, and other times not. I quite like it in my garden in the wilder parts, but it has an enormous tap root which makes it tricky to remove from places where I don't want it.
Pentaglottis sempervirens, the green alkanet, evergreen bugloss or alkanet, is a bristly, perennial plant native to Western Europe. (Wiki)

Some of the most beautiful flowers I have seen were growing on 'weeds'. I'm no sure I believe in that word any longer.
