Happy Hump Day my friends, hope things are well with all. A little humorous mag cover, I was going to post this next Wednesday on my bday, but Poser Gurlz will be out next week and didn't want both covers in the same week. sorry I'm late on this, I'm not quite back yet (but for dedis), but I wanted to be sure to comment on this, and I'm happy you posted it this week! Love the take-off, and that big red-stained (blood-stained?) lifesaver she's standing on---all part of her buoy. She's battling off 2 sharks---to suit the "bill collecting sharks" (something a lot of us may have dealt with at one time or another!), and a bunch of other headlines typical of your terrific covers. (Annie Fanny---haven't heard that name in an eon...) Great use of color too, the woman's draped in dark blues while the cover is in light blues; and your fonts are, as always, creative and with real contrasts. Heffner used to live maybe 3 blocks from my home, and he was as known, around here, as much for his liberal activism as for his women (Chicago's a Democratic machine town); and I pass his mansion every day. (Maybe I'll photograph it one of these days.) Terrific job, Steve, your covers make us believe you've been an art director for years. I'll be back for more comments soon, but I wish you all the best, as always. You deserve it.
