My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Your image here is a spectacular vision, which I really like [those lines & angles & POV are perfect, - not even to mention those amazing clouds! - I could stare and study them forever, without ever tire of them] and those are the 'things' that inspire me, to learn more about photography, as I go along and watch everybody else do the hard yards first... sorry Tara, but somebody's got to be the first - you are a good teacher, thanks! ;P
...moving along, I have had a chance to look at all your latest 'contributions' here... ;) I will comment on a few more, as soon as possible, they are all good in their own categories. [the weekend is here, that may mean more work, continuing laying a couple 100 more pavers [?] Autumn has arrived for us in the Southern Hemisphere, temperatures have dropped ;(( [only 22 C = 72 F] therefore, it's easier to work under less hot conditions. ;))
But this is not about me, it's about a dedication for your good friend and I also wish him well
we'll see... read this the other day and thought it very cute: "Sometimes I pretend to be normal, but it gets boring - so I get back to being me"

Amazing what a superb POV with all the lines, my friend. So very high in the sky, I would get vertigo, just to look at it. But, by chance, dear Tara, I just put a picture for your birthday, and now I see this, how can this be? LOL.

Hey, no worries, hon! I've let my boss know I'm outta there at the end of September - so things are in motion.... It's time for me to move on to other things - and maybe find a way to make a buck doing something I actually enjoy for a change! What a concept, huh? LOL
Yeah, it takes a little more than having a couple holes and a mesh in my bod to slow me down much! I wish they coulda added at least a subdivision option to that mesh, though....
Thanks so much, Tara! The sweeping lines here pretty much represent the last week - going all directions at once! LOL What a spectacular and fun photo! And yeah, if I was there, I'd HAVE to go up in that thing!

Wonderful. Lost my first comment about this very cool photo...hope I can recapture a bit of the originality of my first effort:) Love the geometry of the wheel against to random cloud patterns. Your title is very apropos for Rod. Sounds like he is really going to retire this coming September! Let's make another bus trip or two to Seattle this summer. Am looking forward to taking my new camera down to the big city.
