Description

This is a view from a piece of our garden behind the house, when you look around you on top of the stairs. Among others, there are a lot of Columbines. The photo is from last week. btw. We have already caught hundreds of snails and taken to the nature reserve a little further. (I've just learned that it are slugs, not snails ;-)) Every night Karel goes into the garden, but they have already caused a lot of damage. Now, nothing to do, huh? Even when it was still freezing, our garden was here a brasserie for them. ;-) Thank you very much for your visit.

I love columbine. This is a feast for the eyes!

We have a few snails here, but mostly we have slugs, which are just really big snails without shells. I'd rather have snails, because they're easy to pick up! Slugs, you mostly have to avoid or flip them away with a stick. They're quite slimy.

I understand that crushed egg shells work to keep the snails and slugs away... beautiful capture

🐝 Having reached the top of the stairs now and viewed the gorgeous flowers, it's simply heavenly... you can call yourself lucky to see this all Summer long - until next season again - and we are so lucky to have you, Jacominchen, showing us your garden, never mind about the snails, I bet the bees 🐝 and butterflies love it as well ...

Hi Jacomina....wow! look at your beautiful columbine. I really love your garden. I also have a slug problem..ugh! Those little monsters eat up everything in sight.
I have not gotten on RR much lately, but I must hop on sometimes to say hi and look at your lovely art and fotos.
