This song is very special to me it was the theme song after the Marysville bush fires in 2009,

Today you are spoiling us with three wonderful creations, all are wonderful and the last represents a lot for you. Forest fires are still too frequent with disastrous consequences and not always of natural origin. Thank you for sharing your creations with us, Dee

I read about the Marysville Bush Fires after you posted this; I hadn't heard of them, and they were truly terrible. I understand why they used this symbol as a commemoration...The tradition of ribbons on trees goes back at least 150 years, and was used (as you may know) by women to tell the world they were waiting for their beloveds to come back from war or service. When the man came back and saw the ribbon, he knew his lover/wife was waiting for him. The actual song, of course, was from the last century, but the tradition goes back further.
Your woman has stopped by the road in a vast landscape with sunset yellow, filled with intimations of coming night, laced with golden light. It's a beautiful primal landscape. And she sits dressed in yellow, with your usual dress and design sense, in front of an even deeper yellow cycle, under a luminous honey-yellow ribbon. And your tree is holding and shedding deep red leaves. A sense of waiting and hoping, where the woman and her cycle are a smashing center to this primal and beautiful landscape. Beautifully done again.
