This type of photograph poses great difficulties to many photographers, because of all the visual "activity" in the rigging, and then the very same in the background: There's a chance of 'clash', of too much visual busy-ness. But you've managed to make everything 'sing' in this piece, it's ecstatic to me; and the mix of the rigging with all the houses is just right. And the left side of the image is 'framed' by the tall poles and black ropes. A beautiful, even giddy, shot, which is alive and yet balanced. You're so very good at what you do, i's a real pleasure to come here.
