I agree with Andrea. This has a feeling of coiled and straining energy. It's beautifully composed, and the dof is just right. Beautiful!

A nicely composed image with an interesting subject. Nice sharp detail and color and nice depth of field. This fern is very interesting in the way it's coiled up, almost ready to spring up or out. And in looking at it, I can let my imagination go and the fronds almost look like several caterpillars huddled together clinging to the stem.
