Description
Taken at the Ashland World Music Festival yesterday. This young lady was a very creative dancer who had a lot of balletic & athletic moves - fun to watch, along with many other spirited dancers, happy children & colorful characters of various types...

you so rarely do people, I always want to sit with it when you do. You got a lot of vertical feeling here, with the woman and the man, and the big trees and the mother and her children, and everyone else. And the man in front is lying down, which is fun counterpoint to those verticals. And the woman, who feels like a first focus of the image, really is reaching, like a sun pose, and she does look creative as you say. The people in the background are bathed in light rather than shadow, which gives lift to the piece. Very celebrative, with a lot of light and the feeling of a joyous rite.
Well I've been here about 35 minutes, so I'll move on. But I'll come back before I step down. (I said in my gallery that I'd be 2 days here, but I'll wait till I get to everyone before I step away.) I'll be back for some more, later in the week...
