Description

This engine was put into a `67 Type 2 (micro bus) It is a modified 1600 (he wouldn't go for the 1700 jugs)with a Weber carb. Oil cooler is behind the shroud. It could cruise in fourth over the same stretch of road that reqired an upshift and a heavy pedal according to the owner. The original 1500 sucked its #3 exhaust valve (like my '66 1300 did).
