Description
This is an experiment that I did years ago with Poser and Carrara. This was done in older versions, Poser 5 and Carrara 3. I have long since upgraded to Poser Pro 11 and Carrara 8. But at this time, my issue was to try to composite my character Yoshi, created in Poser 5 and integrate her into a photograph of my apartment kitchen as if she were washing my dishes. I imported Yoshi into Carrara as a static model and then built some primitive objects to act as shadow catchers in Carrara. I was attempting to catch her shadows on the sink and cabinets, and try to make her appear to be part of the scene. It isn't perfect, and I intend to do another version with either Poser Pro 11 (which now natively supports shadow catching) or even Carrara 8 which supports Poser figures as dynamic posable figures.

Cool. Nice that you posted this despite it being old. I run Poser 5 and have Carrara 3. I have several composite images using Poser 5 and Photoshop. Some are good, some less so. Take a look in my gallery - https://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/?uid=5273 Enjoy!

Thanks for your comment. I have browsed some of your images in your gallery, and have seen some of your composites, and I do often like your photos and composites. And some of your stuff makes me laugh. I also like how you like to tease or joke with some members such as historicalreenactor, and his gabby topless models. Keep up the good work.

Thank you for the compliment. This however was in the days before I even heard of such things as "ambient occlusion" which would have improved the image immensely. I hope to soon be able to post a revision of this image.
