Description

In Poser Pro 2014 I wanted to attempt to use Roxie in a composite scene posing her and trying to simulate the lighting to make her appear as a part of the original photograph. To simulate her being lit by the camera flash, I had a light directly light her from front and cranked it up to simulate the brightness of the flash. I made sure that the Roxie had her subsurface scattering was turned on to make her skin appear to glow like it does when lit by a bright light. I intend to do a revision of this scene, and eventually redo her hair and make some other improvements. The hair in this scene was just a prop wig. I prefer to work with strand based hair because it is more realistic, and I have a powerful computer which will allow me to splurge to create sophisticated effects.

The way I do it is use the material room to put the background image on a billboard prop behind the figure I am rendering so I can get perspective and color balance just right. Then what you see is what you get when you render.

Nice realism in the render.
