Description
Captured back on 9/9/2011, somewhere around the neighborhood.
I don't know the year on this one, but they were manufactured between 1961 and 1980.

I have an intercept spot for these vehicles. Used it once to get a male nurse's rental truck pulled out of sand next to PGA Blvd and once to lower a straight bar from the 20's into a party venue in Royal Oak. A winch and a lot of cable may or may not be needed.

tallpindo always gives fascinating narratives (though doesn't say much about the photos, unfortunately). You capture pale and faded hues very well, as always: This has a faded 'peach' hue, a kind of pastel-rust color---hues I find difficult to capture with the camera. And you got the softness of its surface, and its 'matte' feel; along with the squat nature of the truck. As always, it's composed just right, with lines going back and on angles. A little gem of a shot.
(I'm amazed the truck still works. The owner must have put money into this old possum...)
