after 7 years i'm finally getting around in adding some info on this page. never really thought about doing it. i have been a member here since July 15th 2006, and have learned alot from fellow artists. i would have about 1300 images or so posted but have deleated many of my first pieces. and still consider myself a developing artist at this wonderful site. i'm 56 years old this year "2013" and was born in North Dakota. i have lived in Colorado since 1967 and enjoy this place alot. my stepfather was in the air force and we lived in Bermuda after North Dakota for a few years before coming here where he got stationed.. and so much enjoy many of the finest artist in the world who post here.. love you all and your amazing friendships we share.. lol Steve
i enjoy working with poser, i have such a dinosaur version i use, (p6) wish i had poser 2012 at least. i also use photoshop 7 for most of my work i post here. but more so photography is my main passion, just hope to get a camera again someday.
p.s. not sure how high of a res pic i'm using for this page. take care and thanks a million you all.

I'm sorry to hear those thieves are still upsetting you... do you want me to go snap their necks? I believe I told you to use whois and their abuse email for those domain websites, 99% of the time the server owners have no idea the content posted on their server is copyrighted unless you let them know and they'll be glad to work with you. It's so sad you have to cripple your artwork with the watermarks 'cause of them.

Great tribute to all who serve, Steve. Totally understand the sentiment concerning the art theft. We artists have to protect what's ours.

Really nice and beautiful Spirit of America art work. Keep up the good work! :-)
My rat-ings - a 6 + happy rats!
Sad to hear you still have problems with theft. But, it shows they are wow-ed out by your art. But the bad thing is claiming it and selling it. That's HURTS and is illegal! If you find them, bring it up with their domain providers. Good luck with it!

Thank you.

Outstanding composition of the strong military, rugged mountain side, rugged landscape and screaming eagle in this striking concept dedicated to those in our armed forces, dating back to the Revolutionary War. And, I don't mind watermarks. Incidentally, your title is the same one as mine for this most memorable and poignant day.

Outstanding Work,

the way I look at watermarks is locks. they only keep out honest people. those wanting to steal will do it any way. look how they were using actual artist names
this is a great dedication and the mark will not stop me from looking and commenting

This turning others art into siggies is as old as forums in 2000. I myself think we should abolish the patents and trademarks office which makes the people's language private property of snarks. How many don't know that titanium is a metal and not some credit card or truck rump? Or that a rainbow contains a spectrum?

Fantastic tribute.

As I told you, the watermark is more discrete here. Great compo. I share Richardphotos' point ; those who want to steal images have programs to get rid of the watermarks.
