Description


Xylocopa iris "Bourdon Noir", de la famille des abeilles charpentières. They have a sting, but are not at all aggressive. Elles ont un dard, mais ne sont pas du tout agressives. Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ200

Very good photo - shows much detail. Looks quite large. The black color makes it look rather ominous. A stinger, but not aggressive? Maybe size gives it confidence. Keep up the good work! :-)
